Drew Cline: Why Are Our Property Taxes So High?

Why are Property Taxes so high for Granite Staters? Every year, taxpayers see their rates go up, sometimes taxing people out of their homes. Is there some way to provide relief for taxpayers?

Drew Cline from the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy joins us to discuss the Property Tax Cap relief bill introduced by NH Representative Barry – HB 1300.

Drew and Jeff also the discuess a piece of legislation that would place the state in control of the Education Freedom Accounts (EFAs). The program is currently being successfully managed by a nonprofit that has been recognized for its incredible oversight and cost-saving effectiveness in managing the EFA program.
