Veterans account for 30% of the estimated 3,000 mesothelioma cases diagnosed annually. Veterans who develop mesothelioma because of military asbestos exposure can file for VA benefits.
  • Mesothelioma Hub: Each year, an estimated 3,300 people are diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma, a rare but virulent type of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.
