Intro to Textile Weaving Workshop

Join the fun and learn the fundamentals of weaving in a four-week workshop for beginners, happening at the Strawbery Banke Museum.

Each class will offer hands-on practice with the Museum’s 4-shaft Harrisville floor looms. Once the workshop is over, you’ll have created approximately 2 yards of fabric that can used for such great items as towels, placemats or pillows.

Those interested should take note that you’ll need to be able kneels or squat and handle small threads. The class is for those 18 and older and limited to 6 participants.

The cost for members is $400 and $450 for non-members.
