Chris Sununu: The Effect of the Shutdown on Air Travel

Employees at TSA, FEMA, Security Service, and Coast Guard will not receive a paycheck as the Democratic Shutdown approaches its fourth week.

Numerous TSA agents have either called out sick, failed to show up for their shifts, or outright resigned. This has caused a massive strain on the system, with wait times at many airports approaching 5 hours.

Former NH Governor Chris Sununu, and current President and CEO of Airlines for America (A4A), joins the show to discuss the impact of both the partial government shutdown and rising fuel costs are having on air travel.
