Both the US House and the US Senate are out of session this week, with only key and senior members remaining in Washington, DC to work through the partial government shutdown.

Additionally, the House closed last week with very contentious hearings on Epstein.

The Hill’s Emily Brooks tries to help us understand how the House is handling these issues this week.
