Francours’ Counter Conversation: Rep. Dan McGuire, Jodie Nazaka, visitNH

This month’s popular Counter Conversation series returns to Francours Restaurant in Manchester .

During the first hour of the show, host Jeff Chdester is joined by audio from General Kellogg and Gen. Keane on the last from the Iran Conflict.

Jeff talks about the ongoing controversy involving New Hampshire State Representative Read and the growing scandal over her insistence on invoking a constitutional privilege for driving at 107mph and 92mph in two separate incidents. The legal advisor compares recent calls for Read to resign to the Salem Witch Trials.

During the second hour, Jeff was joined by NH Rep. Dan McGuire to talk about HB1300 (pertaining to the tax cap on school spending) as well as other activity up at the NH House in Concord. Jon Eriquezzo from Hillsbourgh Meals on Wheels joins Rep McGuire to discuss updates on the program.

Later, Rep McGuire leaves, and Jodie Nazaka, Director of Economic Development for the City of Manchester, NH, takes over the seat at Francors. Jodie talks about the economic impact of the hugely popular three-day Banana Ball Event at Delta Dental Stadium (Home of the NH FisherCats). We also discuss the recent launch of the visitManchester website. We also talk about a boatload of other activities throughout Manchester.

Jodie hangs in as Kris from visitNH.gov joins the conversation and offers advice regarding day trips throughout the state. Visit visitNH.gov to find your adventure.
