Layon: Governor Ayotte’s Vetoes Disappointing To Many Granite Staters

Rep. Erica Layon dropped into the studio just in time to ask NH SOS Scanlan a voting law question. Rep. Layon hung around to discuss the successes of the first part of the 2025 legislative session, as well as Governor Ayotte’s vetoes.

Rep. Layon discusses the massive support for HB148 (regarding men in women’s private/safe places) and the collective disappointment over the Governor’s veto, not just from legislators but from many Granite Staters. Rep. Layon explained that they will review options, including working with the Governor to find common ground for future legislation.
