NH Senator Kevin Avard: Title IX Fight in NH

New Hampshire State Senator joins us to discuss several issues facing New Hampshire, starting with the recent story of the US Department of Education opening a IX investigation into a reported violation at Contoocook Valley School District (ConVol).

The complaint was filed on behalf of NH parents by Defending Education, who stated that their daughter felt uncomfortable after a male student began using the girls’ locker room.

Senator Avard discusses the current state of the ConVol situation and the pending legislation to address these issues.

Note: Representatives from Defending Education made an exclusive appearance on the WFEA Morning Show to outline their case. Click here to listen to the interview.

Senator Avard and The Morning Update host Jeff Chidester also discuss support for Free Standing Emergency Rooms and legislation to prevent foreign influence on NH ballot initiatives.
