January 5, 2026 marked the 250th Anniversary of New Hampshire’s journey as an independent colony, officially breaking free from British rule, and published the First Constitution of New Hampshire on January 5, 1776.

New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlan joins The Morning Update to discuss the recent kickoff event and plans for the rest of New Hampshire and the USA’s Semiquincentennial Celebrations.
