Supporting Granite State Veterans: Previewing the 22nd Annual NH Veteran Stand Down

WFEA Morning Update host Jeff Chidester sits down with Henry Och, President & CEO of Harbor Care, and Bob Coates, President of NH Operations at Eversource, to preview the 22nd Annual NH Veteran Stand Down. Hosted by Harbor Care in partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Presenting Sponsor Eversource NH, this vital resource expo connects local service members with critical support to help end veteran homelessness and foster long-term stability.  

The event features over 50 veteran service organizations providing access to housing, healthcare, employment, heating assistance, financial aid, and essential supplies. Special guest speakers opening the event include Senator Maggie Hassan, U.S. Representative Chris Pappas, Manchester Mayor Jay P. Ruais, Major General David Mikolaities, and Kevin Forrest of the Manchester VA Healthcare System, with Governor Kelly Ayotte joining later in the day.
