Host Jeff Chidester sat down with regular guest Tom Raffio, President and CEO of Northeast Delta Dental, for a wide-ranging update on the organization’s regional health initiatives and community partnerships.

  • State of Dental Outreach: Tom provided a status check on key community programs, highlighting the ongoing success of expanded Medicaid adult dental benefits while addressing operational challenges and active recruitment efforts for their veterans’ dental outreach initiative.
  • DeltaVision Free Clinic Initiative: The conversation shifted to holistic wellness, and Northeast Delta Dental detailed its free DeltaVision Clinic. Tom outlined how combining dental coverage with accessible vision care is helping bridge critical healthcare gaps for underserved populations in the area.
  • Oral Healthcare Challenge with the Fisher Cats: Closing on a high-energy note, Tom and Jeff discussed the annual Oral Health Challenge in partnership with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Tom explained that the program motivates kids to build healthy daily habits by offering tickets and on-field recognition at Delta Dental Stadium for completing a week of proper brushing and flossing.
