Fish and Game says severe weather led to three hiker rescues around Mount Washington Saturday night. Rescue crews helped two cold hikers near the Lion Head Trail junction and a hypothermic hiker on the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail. Crews also carried a fallen hiker with a head injury down to a trailhead after the hiker slipped on the Wildcat Ridge Trail. These rescues prompting Fish and Game officials to remind everyone to check weather reports and pack proper gear.
