Eldery Hillsboro man arrested after ramming a car and a brief standoff

HILLSBORO, N.H.- Kenneth Coffin,78, of Hillsboro was arrested Thursday following an alleged road rage incident that led to a short standoff and a brief road closure.

Following the impact, the suspect allegedly brandished a knife and threatened the victim before fleeing the scene.

Police located the suspect’s vehicle a short time later at a residence on Bog Road. When the driver remained inside the home, officers set up a perimeter and worked to establish contact.

The situation was resolved peacefully, and the suspect surrendered to police without further incident.
