Attorney General investigating four family members found dead inside Madbury home

MADBURY, N.H.- The New Hampshire Attorney General’s office is investigating after the bodies of four people were found dead inside a home. Officials say Monday night troopers responded to 911 call on Moharimet Drive in which the caller said several people were deceased.

Once on scene troopers found the bodies of four family members: two adults and two children, however officials note that a third child, a toddler, was still alive and suffered no physical injuries.

Detectives say each of the deceased family members appears to have suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene and that the events leading up to the deaths are being investigated as a potential murder/suicide.

According to a press release from the Attorney General’s office, the identities of the deceased are being withheld for the time being, and that autopsies are scheduled for Tuesday while an investigation into a motive continues. however, officials say there is no threat to the general public.
