CONCORD, N.H.- The Attorney General’s Office has charged Peter Mancini,47, with unemployment compensation fraud after they say he claimed unemployment and collected money while in jail.

According to court documents Mancini submitted false unemployment claims and received more than $11,000 in unemployment compensation between October 2025 and February 2026, which includes $2,000 he allegedly collected after being incarcerated for another unspecified crime on January 6,2026.

Authorities also note between January and February, Mancini had help from an unnamed accomplice to claim he was searching for work and was available to work without restrictions, even though he was in jail.

Mancini is scheduled to appear in 2nd Circuit District Court in Lebanon Thursday morning.
