CONCORD, N.H.- A Boston man will spend at least 8 years in federal prison for his leading what authorities call a drug trafficking organization based in Massachusetts that distributed fentanyl and cocaine in New Hampshire.

Authorities say the sentence for Juan Ramon Soto Baez comes after the 55-year-old pleaded guilty back in February to a single count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

According to court documents the 55-year-old led a drug trafficking organization out of Massachusetts which distributed fentanyl and cocaine in New Hampshire between 2019 and 2023.
