Claremont School board announces new Superintendent

CLAREMONT, N.H.- The Claremont School District has hired a new Superintendent as it struggles with the multi-million-dollar deficit.

According to an announcement from the district Tim Broadrick has been hired to take over as the new Superintendent.

The announcement comes after the board voted 5-2 in favor of bringing Broadrick on.

Broadrick is no stranger to education as he’s currently working as the Superintendent for Alton, Barnstead and Prospect Mountain school districts and will begin his new position in Claremont in July.

Currently, the district is led by former Middle School Principal Kerry Kennedy, who’s been serving as interim superintendent as it deals with a budget shortfall of more than $5 million dollars.
