Concord Man arrested for DWI after crashing into a NH State Police Cruiser.


CONCORD, NH – 63 year old Richard Talbot of Concord was arrested for driving while intoxicated after crashing into a New Hampshire State Police cruiser.

Around quarter to eight on Tuesday NH State Police were on patrol on I-93 in Concord when a Trooper exited I-93 South at Exit 12N and was yielding at the sign at the end of the off-ramp to merge safely onto Route 3A. At that moment, a silver 2022 Ford Explorer came down the off-ramp, failed to stop, and struck the rear of the Trooper’s cruiser.

The driver of the Ford, Richard Talbot, 63, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Neither Talbot, the Trooper or the Police K-9 were injured.
