One person is dead after a house fire on Hart Farm Road in Deering Saturday night. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire coming from the house. Crews from a dozen surrounding towns also responded to assist. Fire officials said a State Police K-9 located one person inside the home, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said the victim’s identity has not been released. Officials say another man was trapped on the second floor but was helped out by a neighbor. He was taken to a Boston hospital with serious injuries.
