For over four decades Lt. Earl Nelson served the people of New Hampshire with professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment. Lt Nelson served as a police officer with the Keene Police Department, a deputy sheriff with the Cheshire County Sheriff’s Office, and as police chief for the Towns of Roxbury, Dublin, Chesterfield, Lyndeborough, and Marlborough.
In 2005 Earl Nelson joined the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training serving as a Training Specialist and Commandant of the Part-Time Police Academy.
In addition to serving as Police Chief for 5 NH communities Earl Nelson was currently serving as a selectman for the Town of Marlborough. It was announced yesterday that Earl Nelson passed away at the age of 68.
