Former Penacook resident arrested on weapons charges in Hampton

HAMPTON, N.H.- Jason Brooks,47, formerly of Penacook was arrested Monday morning after the Hampton Police with assistance from the Seacoast Emergency Response Team (SERT), executed a high-risk search warrant and arrest warrant at 869 Lafayette Road in Hampton NH.

Authorities began their investigation after the Hampton Police Department received multiple reports that a convicted felon was in possession of a firearm.

Brooks is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felony conviction.

Brooks was taken into custody without incident. No injuries were reported during the operation.
