CONCORD, N.H.- Following it’s passage through both the House and Senate Governor Kelly Ayotte is scheduled to sign a “No fault” eviction bill into law.

Under the bill property owners would be required to give their tenants 60 days’ notice before deciding not to renew a lease.

Speaking with WMUR-TV State Rep.Tim Lang of Sanbornton says the bill allows property owners to reclaim their property after completing a contract.

However, opponents of the bill like Rep. Ellen Read of Newmarket call it an attack on tenant rights during the state’s worst housing crisis.
