Hudson man ordered held following weekend assault

HUDSON,N.H.- Police have ordered the man charged with allegedly strangling a womnan and punching her in the eye during a domestic violence incident held without bail.

According to Police Timothy Knight was taken into custody Saturday on a Domestic violence related 2nd degree assult, however when Police arrived to take the 48 year-old into custody he had already feld the area.

As a result the department called in Detectives with the department’s Special Investigations Division who ended up taking Knight into custody.

Once in custody Knight was infromed that he would be facing additonal assault related charges due to the extent of the victim’s injuries.

Following his arrest Knight was held without bail pending his arraignment Monday in Nashua District Court.
