Littleton man facing murder charges in Green Mountain State

SPRINGFIELD, V.T.- A Littleton man charged with murder is now on trial in Vermont.

According to court documents, Paul LaChapelle Jr. has been charged with shooting Justin Gilliam in June of 2022 and leaving his body on the side of the road in Springfield.

Authorities say the shooting was the result of a dispute related to drug trafficking.

New Hampshire State Police ended up arresting LaChapelle in June of 2024 in Lisbon.
