Local man facing attempted murder charge.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Police say a suspect is currently in custody in connection with a shooting earlier this month on Wilson Street which left another person with serious injuries.

According to Police 19-year-old Ayden Bonella has been charged with attempted murder out of the events which occurred during the early morning hours of May 2.

A witness tells police two people were having some sort of loud argument and when she asked them to quiet down which led to one of the individuals believed to be Bonella started screaming at her, which led to the victim getting involved and a fight between the two. From there Police say Bonella pulled out a gun and began firing at the victim.

Police say the 27-year-old victim was treated following the incident and that he and Bonella do not know each other.

Bonella has since turned himself into authorities and is currently being held in preventive detention and has yet to be arraigned.
