A retired Massachusetts judge is calling on the FBI to conduct a civil rights investigation into how officials in New Hampshire handled allegations of physical and sexual abuse of 5-year-old Harmony Montgomery. On Tuesday, Judge Carol Erskine filed a petition which features more than 100 specific allegations and supporting exhibits in the call for the investigation. They include claims that Department of Children, Youth and Family violated Harmony’s rights under the 14th Amendment, including her right to safety, medical care and protection from harm.
