MANCHESTER, N.H.- A Maine man is facing charges in New Hampshire for leading State troopers on a high-speed chase which at times reached speeds over 100 miles an hour.

Authorities say Jacob Lemery, 20, was taken into custody early Thursday morning following a chase that first began when a trooper on patrol in Bow witnessed him headed north at a 100 mph.

The arrest comes after Troopers say Lemery’s truck broke down between Exits 16 and 17 due to damage it sustained when it crossed a concrete median at Exit 13 in order to get back onto the highway.

Following his arrest Lemery was charged with a number of offenses including reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled drug, aggravated driving while intoxicated, disobeying a police officer, and reckless operation.

Lemrey was released on personal recognizance bail and is due back in court on Nov. 17.
