A man accused of mixing THC, which is found in cannabis, into ice cream at a Newmarket café has pleaded guilty to federal charges. Investigators say 45-year-old Marc Flore mixed THC into a batch of his shop’s coffee-Oreo ice cream in September 2022. A catering company took over the shop that same year, but it kept the ice cream inventory. That tampered batch was served to customers in March 2023 and several were hospitalized. Flore faces up to 10 years in prison when he’s sentenced in November.
