Man with gunshot wound found Sunday morning in Manchester

MANCHESTER N.H.- An unidentified man has been hospitalized after police say he suffered a gunshot wound to the hand.

Authorities say Police responded to a call early Sunday morning at 784 Dix Street for a man with a gunshot wound.

Once on scene officers located the induvial and then called for an ambulance to take the man to Eliot Hospital and note that the man’s injury were caused by a 9mm handgun.

Authorities note that the injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

In the meantime, Police are investigating the possibility that this was an accidental shooting.  As for the man’s identity, authorities have yet to release that information.
