Manchester man sentenced to federal prison for unlawful possession of firearms

MANCHESTER N.H.- A local man has been found guilty and sentenced for the unlawful possession of multiple firearms.

According to court documents Thomas Young, 46, has been found guilty and sentenced for the unlawful possession of multiple firearms

In September of 2023 the FBI received information from a confidential source that Young was a gang member selling firearms.  Young agreed to sell the confidential source a modified AK-47 rifle for $2,200

Young, who was a convicted felon at the time and unable to legally possess a firearm, plead guilty to one count of unlawful possession of firearms.
