Manchester Mayor gives State of the City

Manchester’s Mayor Jay Ruais gave his State of the City Address yesterday at the NH Institute of Politics. The mayor addressed topics ranging from the demand for affordable housing, deterring crime, making a “historic investment” in city roads, developing an AI Policy Guide for the city, and plans to implement items like an AI Chatbot to facilitate user interaction between city departments and residents. Ruais also mentioned that city budget talks are ongoing for Fiscal Year 2026.
