Mechanical Malfunction May be to Blame for Parking Lot Crash

A runaway electric SUV hit 5 cars in the Market Basket parking lot in Manchester yesterday. Police say the driver, 50-year-old Fiordaliz Lopez of Massachusetts, says it was a mechanical failure that caused her vehicle to accelerate out of control. Two people were taken to the hospital and are expected to be ok. The crash is under investigation.
