MANCHESTER, N.H.- Jurors in the third trial of former Youth Development Center worker Stephen Murphy are deliberating following closing arguments this week prior to which Murphy took the stand.

Testfying Wednesday Murphy mained his innocence and said that he did not facilitate the assault of a teenage victim back in 1996.

Following Murphy’s testimony Prosecutors claimed the assault was about teaching the victim a lesson after he stole an item from an auto shop where he worked, while the defense called the victim’s claims a “house of cards” not supported by witnesses’ testimony.
