Nashua Man charged with 12 Felony counts of Domestic Assault


NASHUA, NH – 36 year old Dovey Sarante Nunez of Nashua was arrested following an investigation into reports of child abuse that began when police overheard screaming while on an unrelated call.

On Tuesday Nashua Police were dealing with a call at an apartment complex when officers heard a child screaming from a neighboring unit.  Officers knocked on the door of the apartment and spoke with Nunez.  Police determined he had used a belt to discipline the child resulting in significant bruising.

Detectives from the Special Investigations Division took over the case, ultimately filing a dozen felony charges against Nunez who was arrested yesterday.     Sarante Nunez is currently being held without bail.
