CONCORD, NH – Governor Kelly Ayotte announced yesterday (March 24th) that according to WalletHub – New Hampshire has been ranked the #1 state in the nation for taxpayer return on investment for the 11th consecutive year

In a press release the Gov stated “By keeping taxes low, spending responsibly, and staying focused on results, we are making sure New Hampshire remains the best place in America to live, work, and raise a family.”

The report from WalletHub credits New Hampshire’s lack of a state income tax and low tax burden as major contributors to the #1 ranking.

New Hampshire also has one of the lowest unemployment and poverty rates in the country.
