MANCHESTER, N.H.- One of the men charged in the murder of man outside a warehouse in Derry plans to plead guilty.
According to court documents, Jeremy Li,19, of New York has entered into a plea agreement after being charged with second-degree murder for his role in the stabbing of Gui Lin, 41, outside the warehouse at 4 Peabody Annex Road in May of 2025.
Under the agreement Li is facing a sentence cap of 25 years to life for his role in the ordeal.
The development comes as Li was scheduled to take part in a consolidated trial along with the other induvial charged in Lin’s death, Marco Junior Marquez Vera and Ayaan Nisaar.
Police say back on May 19, 2025, Lin was stabbed in the heart after the three men surrounded him as he unloaded boxes from the trunk of his vehicle, as Police note the death was linked to a sophisticated fraud scheme involving stolen gift cards and that the warehouse where police say a large number of iPhones and other Apple products were being repackaged and shipped to places like China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
Court officials have yet to schedule a date for Li’s change of plea hearing. It should be noted that a sentencing hearing will occur separately.
