A Southwest Airlines pilot who lives in New Hampshire was arrested for DUI at a Georgia airport right before he was supposed to pilot a flight. Authorities say 52-year-old David Allsop of Bedford was taken into police custody Wednesday morning at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. The flight was delayed for 5 hours while Southwest Airlines worked to find another pilot.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines said, “We’re aware of a situation involving an employee on Flight 3772 this morning from Savannah. The employee has been removed from duty. Customers were accommodated on other flights, and we apologize for the disruption to their travel plans. There’s nothing more important to Southwest than the safety of our employees and customers.”
