No tolerance initiative in Manchester

On March 30th Manchester Police and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office conducted a joint enforcement day. Officers and deputies saturated downtown Manchester and other areas of the city looking for driving violations, various criminal offenses as well as people with outstanding warrants.

This was essentially a “no tolerance” initiative and resulted in more than 150 motor vehicle stops and more than 2 dozen arrests.

• Arrests – 28
• Motor Vehicle Stops – 152
• MV Summons – 24
• City Ordinances- 14
• Found a missing juvenile and towed a camper off city streets

The people arrested are as follows:
Phil Petrin (41) – Probation hold
Keith Lafond (37) – Superior Court Capias (x2)
John Defeo (52) – Probation hold
James Perry (37) – EBW (x2), Manchester District Court, Possession of C. D.
Joseph Haywood (40) – Superior Court Capias (x2)
