One dead out of motor vehicle crash on I-93 in Londonderry

LONDONDERRY, N.H.- New Hampshire State Police have confirmed a driver is dead following a fiery motor vehicle crash along I-93.

A little before 10:30 troopers responded to the crash at the Route 102 overpass and once on scene saw good samaritans trying to help remove the driver and extinguish the fire but were unsuccessful due to the severity of the crash and the flames.

A short time later emergency responders arrived and extinguished the fire and pronounced the driver dead at the scene.

Following the crash authorities have yet to release the driver’s name, pending an autopsy and notification of family.

State Police say the crash ended up closing multiple lanes on I-93 were closed for about four hours while troopers investigated.
