UPDATE:  A 12-year-old boy has died after an accident on an intermediate trail at Cranmore Mountain. Police said it appeared the boy struck a tree while skiing on the Bandit Trail.

A skier is recovering after an accident on an intermediate trail at Cranmore Mountain. Officials said they received a report of an unconscious juvenile male shortly after 10:45 Tuesday morning. According to the Union Leader, Ski Patrol performed CPR before on the 12-year-old boy was transported to Memorial Hospital. The skier was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
