MANCHESTER, N.H.- State Police are investigating after a body was pulled from the Merrimack River in Bedford over the weekend.
According to investigators on Saturday State police responded to a report of a body in the river near Hawthorne Road in Bedford.
Once on scene First Responders were able to locate the decased indivual and believe the person may have been in the water for an extended period of time; meanwhile, authorities don’t believe the death to be suspicious.
As for the the person’s identity, authorities were holding off in releasing that pending notification of family.
Autopsy results are expected today, after an autopsy was conducted Sunday.
Authorities note this appears to be an isolated incident.
