LACONIA,N.H.- An investigation is underway following a weekend fire that destroyed a three-story building which officials are calling suspicious.
A little after 3 a.m. Sunday crews answered a call for a fire in the area of Right Way Path and once on scene found the former Laconia State School building a blaze.
After about two hours crews were able to contain the fire, but firefighters stayed on site for more than 12 hours battling hotspots.
No injuries were reported, however a cause is underway as officials have raised concern due to the fact that not only was the building vacant, built officials say it did not have electricity or utility services.
