Eversource rates are going up August 1st. Officials said electricity bills are typically higher this time of year anyway as air conditioning use increases, but this year, the utility said customers will see an average increase of $13 on the supply portion of their bill. Eversource does have financial assistance programs and usage management resources to help customers manage their bills.
