WAKEFIELD, N.H.- Fire officials say a home is a total loss following a weekend fire.

Fire officials say they first received the call for Saturday’s fire a little after 5pm for a fire first identified in the chimney and once on scene crews were greeted by heavy smoke inside and flames coming from the back porch.

Out of the blaze fire officials say the southside of the home eventually collapsed.

While no injuries were reported and everyone in the home was able to exit safely, two fire fighters on the scene were evaluated and were found to be ok.

As for a cause, fire officials say they’re looking to see if the blaze originated in chimney.
