Whitefield mother dies from injuries after being shot by son

MANCHESTER, N.H.- Officials say the Whitefield woman shot by her son multiple times this past week has died from her injuries.

On Monday the Attorney General’s office announced that Amy Blake,59, died from her injuries she incurred after she was shot by her son Eric Blake Jr.29, and her death has been ruled a homicide.

Authorities say Blake not only shot his mother, but also his brother Michael Marro,41 and his father Eric Blake Sr. 53, on August 11, 2026.

During the early morning hours police ended up answering a call at 3 Hilltop Manner where they found Amy Blake, Michael Marro and Eric Blake Jr. all had been shot, and were able to determine that Eric had shot the other two and then himself and was quickly pronounced dead at the scene.

At the same time Police say Eric Blake Sr, was also shot by his son, but was able to drive himself to an area hospital and was treated for his injuries and is expected to be ok, while Marro is still listed in critical condition.
