Ahead of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in September, WFEA Radio and the NH Prostate Cancer Coalition host a crucial roundtable discussion on men’s health, early detection, and local support. Joining the program are Cathi Bachhuber and Peter McGee, co-Presidents of the New Hampshire Prostate Cancer Coalition (NHPCC).

Throughout the broadcast, Cathi and Peter detail the core mission of NHPCC and highlight why community awareness is vital—noting that 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. They emphasize the simple steps every man can take, starting with asking their doctor for an annual PSA blood test to monitor prostate health.

They also share how listeners can support NHPCC’s work across the Granite State.
