On January 28, 1986, New Hampshire teacher Christa McAuliffe perished along with six other NASA astronauts and crew members of the Challenger Space Shuttle.

WFEA opens the show with a tribute to Christa McAuliffe, featuring archived audio of Christa’s journey to becoming an astronaut.

During the second part of the hour, The Morning Update Host Jeff Chidester discusses the attempt to pass a bicycle fee (which did not go so well) and legislation defining what violation would render a vehicle unsafe.
